Some poeple say that California(my goodness, I spell this word correctly.) is "big Taiwan" because the temperature is exactly like Taiwan; moreover, you not only can see chineness walk on the strees but also can found the chine supermarket easily.
Everything have both positive side and negative side. Yesterday, we had an earthquake attack.
I asked few people in my classes. Generally, they all shocked and felt really terrible, but , I don't. I felt the earthquake is not blatant(obvious, adj)...... I only heard the furniture bump, and it is that sound scared me. I felt nothing when the earthquake happened. I just wondered "what ' thar terrible sound? Is any house collapse? Or is there a serious car crash in the highway?"
Then the lord of my house, uncle Robet said out loud:"It's earthquake?" and I realize the earthquake.
Anyway, the yahoo news didn't report anything about this. And we had another earthquake in this afternoon. One girl was so worry that she kept asking "it's there going to have a big earthquake in near future?" find, at least I know that she never go to Taiwan or Japen.
Oh, today is halloween. I thought halloween is holiday, but it isn't. Damn.
But it seems that no one lose the interest of today. I saw so many children in my campus in unusual costume asking for candy. And many adults dress up,too. I saw my acquaintance weared a bloody doctor white robe. He shocked me more than the earthquake. I wanted to ask him what happened or what's his last class, but I didn't, because I contrive(think up, v) it most for the Halloween.
Well, maybe that's why we had earthquake: the ghosts and deaths are climb from the ground XD
